The SLY Foods Pesto Pasta – Double freeze-dried meal is a flavour-packed pasta dish coated in a rich, herbaceous pesto-style sauce. Comforting and satisfying after a long day on the trail, this generous double serve is perfect for two or one extremely hungry hiker.

These pouches weigh in around one third of the prepared meal. Just add hot water and enjoy in 10–15 minutes, straight from the pouch. Made in Canada with a long shelf life and reliable adventure fuel. SLY Foods meals are all MSG free.

12 Month Shelf Life

All our freeze dry and MRE meals have at least 12 months of shelf life left, usually way way more, at time of purchase. Anything shorter than that, we'll sell it as a 'clearance' item at a discount. More info.

Enjoyed & will buy again

Was the best freeze dried pesto pasta we have ever tried - tasted like basil (unlike some we have tried)
And was fresh and delicious

It was okay. Had to add some fetta to make it nicer. Im not a big pasta fan though so just my opinion.

was hoping this would be great, but unfortunately it was very bland. I would buy it again but as a base, then add flavour 😒

Pity this one missed the mark, Matt. I'm very much of the view that freeze-dried meals in general can be pimped up all sorts of ways. The SLY Pesto Pasta for can be enhanced by adding some freeze-dried chicken or Nomad Nutrition vegan protein shreds, and some cheese or nutritional yeast flakes to give it that parmesan-y kick.
