The SLY Foods General Tao Rice – Double freeze-dried meal is a bold, Asian-inspired rice dish coated in a sweet and savoury General Tao-style sauce with vegetables throughout. Big on flavour and built to properly refuel after a long day outdoors, this generous double serve is perfect for two or one extremely hungry hiker.

These pouches weigh in around one third of the prepared meal. Just add hot water and enjoy in 10–15 minutes, straight from the pouch. Made in Canada with a long shelf life and reliable adventure fuel. SLY Foods meals are all MSG free.

All our freeze dry and MRE meals have at least 12 months of shelf life left, usually way way more, at time of purchase. Anything shorter than that, we'll sell it as a 'clearance' item at a discount. More info.
